About Scott & Craig

Craig Hoffman is a freelance EMMY award winning journalist.  In late 2001, while working as an anchor and reporter for WAVE-TV (NBC) in Louisville, Hoffman approached Douglass (Who, at that time, was the General Manager of the Louisville Motor Speedway), with the idea of putting together a locally produced racing television show covering all levels of the sport. Shortly thereafter, Kentuckiana Motorsports came to life!  In the past twenty years, some of the biggest stars of NASCAR, Monster Jam, Indy Car, ARCA, NHRA, and other sports and business industry professionals have appeared on KMS television shows, online reports, websites, and on social media.  More recently, Hoffman served as on-air talent, as well as the Vice-President & General Manager, for a group of television channels and radio stations owned by AIRCOMMEDIA.  He also was the Director of Station Operations and on-air-talent for Louisville's WBKI-TV, The CW Louisville. While there he created and hosted the popular Louisville LIVE This Morning Television Show. Prior to Louisville, Hoffman worked at television stations in Charlotte (WBTV-TV CBS) and New Bern (WCTI-TV ABC), North Carolina, as well as Chattanooga, Tennessee (WRCB-TV NBC). He has created and produced nearly a dozen television and radio programs. During his long broadcasting career, Hoffman has been a contributing journalist for NBC, CNN, the Thacker-Packer Report, and his work has appeared on NBC News, ABC News, VH-1, and NBC Dateline.  In high school, he began his broadcasting career at  his hometown radio stations, WSIC Radio and WFMX-FM in Statesville, NC, just outside of Charlotte in the heart of NASCAR Country.  WFMX was the first major radio station in North Carolina to broadcast local NASCAR Cup qualifying to a mass audience reaching more than a dozen counties.

Craig is now an on-air freelance talent, writer and producer, emcee, public speaker, and has served as a media instructor and talent coach for corporations, government agencies, and schools.  He can be reached by filling out the KMS Contact form or by email: kymotorsports@gmail.com

Scott Douglass is a Hall-of-Famer, veteran radio and television personality, and is known as the "Worldwide Voice of Monster Jam".  He has served as a professional talent coach for Feld Entertainment and continues to work with Monster Jam and in the entertainment and motorsports industry. Douglass joined Hoffman for the very first official show of Kentuckiana Motorsports in 2002.  Douglass is from the Louisville area. When he is not traveling with Monster Jam, Scott also works as an announcer, broadcast producer, writer, and coaches both racing industry professionals and corporate executives.  He is a former track announcer at Iowa, Salem, and Kentucky Speedways, and is the former longtime General Manager of the old Louisville Motor Speedway.   Douglass has worked on a variety of national racing shows including both the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt and Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series. Over the years Douglass has served as an on air personality for several Louisville radio stations and provided play-by-play action for Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro, Kentucky.

In 2020, Scott Douglass became the second ever person inducted into the new Monster Jam Hall of Fame (His longtime friend and the original driver of Gravedigger, Dennis Anderson was the first inductee!).  Scott can be reached by filling out the KMS Contact form or by email: kymotorsports@gmail.com.
