It is the "Monster Mile" next on the NASCAR schedule. At Dover, race fans can expect hard charging racing on the concrete! A totally different race than Talladega. Certainly a must see event!
Trackhouse Racing has come out of the starting blocks fast and furious! Big win for Ross Chastain in the NASCAR Cup Series at Talladega. Team owners have promised nothing less than a total team effort when the season started. The companywide determination at Trackhouse Racing is at a high level! You can get it is a winning attitude other owners are trying to copy.
Big wins for Brittany Force, Matt Hagan, Erica Enders, and Steve Johnson at the NHRA Spring Nationals in Houston. The achievement was not overshadowed by Tony Stewart and his NHRA driver Bobby Bode. The 20 year old Funny Car racer apparently thought he had the machine to win. Instead, his engine blew up. After the run, Bode tossed his gloves and helmet in anger. Tony showed no displeasure towards Bode. One of Stewart's traits when battling in the Cup Series, a strong passion to win! And at times when something happened Smoke didn't like, the sport saw frustration, just like Bode.

Kimmel Racing (Clarksville, IN) driver Scott Melton had to be physically removed from his stock car after a nasty wreck in the ARCA Series race at Talladega. Reports state Melton suffered a fractured leg. Anytime there is such an incident, we wish all drivers and those hurt a fast recovery. The race had to be stopped for an extended period to retrieve Melton, and clean up the wreck involving multiple cars.
The Indy Car Series heads to Alabama this weekend. After that, a near month excitement at Indianapolis.
Enjoy the Racing!
