Kentuckiana Motorsports urges everyone to drive safely over the long Memorial Holiday weekend. Slow down, be patient. Millions of people will be traveling. Check tire pressure, engine fluids, and toss some snacks, a blanket, and flashlight in the car or truck as a precaution. It doesn't hurt adding some Lucas Oil Fuel Injector Cleaner or other Lucas Oil products to your car, truck, RV, or motorcycle.

Don't forget the FREE KMS and Lucas Oil Giveaway. We have some fun autographs. Just go to the KMS Giveaway page to register!

It is going to be busy time this weekend for race fans! In Indianapolis, it is the 107th running of the Indianapolis 500. The speedway will be packed with fans watching the Greatest Spectacle in Racing! It is as big as the Super Bowl or the Kentucky Derby. Celebrities and dignitaries will be out to witness the historic race! And in Charlotte, it is the Coca Cola 600. The event is a huge race because it is in the backyards of the drivers and race teams. More importantly, the 600 pays a mega tribute to those who serve our country in the military and those who have given their lives. Congrats to Kyle Larsen for a dominating weekend as NASCAR racing returned to North Wilkesboro. It was more than a race. The state, region, and local community all turned out for an amazing and entertaining event!

Over the summer, more people will be getting outside. When out traveling or on vacation, we encourage you to look around. See the farms and ranches in America. Our farmers and ranchers are doing work hard and need support. Protect the Harvest backs them. It is a Lucas Oil backed initiative. Learn more at:

The Sportsdrome Speedway is taking Saturday off. Meaning, there is no scheduled racing at The Drome over the Memorial Day holiday weekend. However, Saturday June 3, it will be standing room only as the school buses hit the track for the School Bus Figure 8 Battle! Many other events will also take place! The Sportsdrome is in Jeffersonville, Indiana (Just 5 minutes from downtown Louisville). The Salem Speedway's next mega race is also Saturday, June 3. It is a CRA Saturday! Remember, mother nature can play games with racing and force events to be re-scheduled. Check track social media for last minute changes. And that includes the Ohio Valley Dragway. It is a 1/8th mile track about 25 minutes from Louisville along Dixie Highway in West Point, Kentucky. The Ponderosa Speedway is another great track, and its known as "Kentucky's Baddest Bullring". It is a short dirt track in central Kentucky at Junction City near Danville (About an hour and fifteen minutes southeast of Louisville). Drive south to Bowling Green (KY) and you'll enjoy Beech Bend. There is an amusement park, camping, and racing. The Beech Bend dragstrip brings in the fans and has a wide range of events. By the way when you go to local tracks, there is a good chance you'll see a Lucas Oil logo somewhere!

The Memorial Day Holiday weekend kicks off the summer racing season. As mentioned above, thousands of people will travel on vacations across the country.
